Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2

Most answers to prayer come subtly, bits at a time. If you’ve been waiting a long time to see a major breakthrough, today’s a good day to look around at all of the prayers God has already answered. 

Take note of the gifts you possess, the ones you’d miss if they were gone tomorrow. 

Notice how personally God has tended to your story. 

Pay attention to the little things, like a subtle shift in perspective, or a lightening of your burden. These things matter and are evidences that life springs up all around you. Don’t discount the small answers while you wait for the big ones. God is answering your prayers and He hears you when you call on Him. 

Keep praying. 

Keep believing.
